• Budget
  The amount of money that you have to spend will always be a limiting factor when it comes to your purchases. If you cannot afford it, you just won’t be able to buy it. But, if you can stretch your budget higher than your initial plans, that’s great. However, once you are on a budget, some products will just be out of reach for you.
• Level of security needed
  Everybody should know that some locks are inferior to others. It’s just one of those things in life. Generally, the more expensive a lock is, the more effective it tends to be. Although this is not true for all locks, it is the case in many instances. If you need a greater level of security from your locks, be prepared to spend more money. One of the most secure locking systems are keyless entry systems. They are also some of the most expensive locks. So, think carefully about how much protection you really need.

  All locks can be put into two basic groups- keyed and keyless. If you are not very tech savvy, it may be better if you work with keyed locks. If you like techy things and you are ready to step into the realm of keyless systems, don’t be afraid to do so. As long as you are willing to learn about these locks, you shouldn’t have a problem using them.
